Healthy Creamy Cheese Sauce
5 Tablespoons White Bean Flour (see this post for info)
4 Teaspoons Chicken Bouillon (whatever type you like best - vegetarian, gluten free, etc.)
1 3/4 cup water
1 cup cheese (you can use whatever cheese you like - for a shelf stable cheese try THRIVE Cheddar, reconstituted)
Optional: I added a little garlic powder and minced onion
Add water, bean flour, and bouillon in a sauce pan. Bring to boil over medium heat and cook for 3 minutes or until sauce has thickened, stirring frequently.
Add cheese and stir until melted.
And there you go.
You can use this sauce for a healthier Mac'n'Cheese (my kids devoured this!)
or use it for a sauce over veggies.
