Easy Healthy Creamy Cheese Sauce

This a great cheese sauce recipe for Mac'n'Cheese or for a fancy sauce for vegetables.  This is so easy and versatile, it cooks up nice and creamy, plus it has the added benefits of having more fiber and protein without others even knowing it.  Healthy, easy, and yummy?  Love it!

Healthy Creamy Cheese Sauce
Ingredients:
5 Tablespoons White Bean Flour (see this post for info)
4 Teaspoons Chicken Bouillon (whatever type you like best - vegetarian, gluten free, etc.)
1 3/4 cup water
1 cup cheese (you can use whatever cheese you like - for a shelf stable cheese try THRIVE Cheddar, reconstituted)
Optional:  I added a little garlic powder and minced onion

Directions:

Add water, bean flour, and bouillon in a sauce pan.  Bring to boil over medium heat and cook for 3 minutes or until sauce has thickened, stirring frequently.

Add cheese and stir until melted.

 And there you go.

You can use this sauce for a healthier Mac'n'Cheese (my kids devoured this!)

or use it for a sauce over veggies.

Enjoy!
